(from event page) In recent years, the opioid and overdose epidemics have increasingly threatened individuals, families, and communities across the country. Daunting statistics and rising death rates have necessitated diverse approaches by providers in all sectors, including professionals in public health, behavioral health, and primary care. Interventions have included an increase in medication-assisted treatment (MAT), medication-first policies, and harm reduction strategies.
Join the Center of Excellence for Integrated Health Solutions on Wednesday, July 29, from 3-4 p.m. ET for a webinar entitled, Responding to the Opioid Overdose Epidemic. Our experts will also present perspectives on the opioid overdose epidemic, related rises in stimulant overdoses and share strategies that address overdose prevention, saving lives, and initiating recovery.
