We honor the vibrant and diverse communities, cultures, and histories of Indigenous peoples who have lived on these lands since time immemorial. We also seek to raise awareness of historical and ongoing challenges – and unique solutions – affecting the health of Native communities.
Traditional medicines are an integral part of Tribal sovereignty and health. HealthierHere has partnered with Tribal organizations across King County, WA, investing over $1 million in efforts to improve access to traditional medicines and address health disparities in American Indian/Alaska Native/Indigenous communities.
We believe the stories featured here are a testament to the healing power of community, culture, and Indigenous knowledge.
Help build support for this model of care and healing in our region and beyond!
